The Story Of The Mice

One Day I noticed a small tail hanging out of my cat's mouth! I grabbed the cat's tail and finally managed to remove a tiny mouse. It was still alive and seemed to have a charmed life with no visible damage. The mouse then sat calmly on the palm of my hand and fell asleep as I wondered what to do with it. I took it to the kitchen and fed it a cornflake, which it ate happily . I then stroked it and talked to it for at least half an hour and then released it in the garden, under a bush. I kept the cats in for the rest of day .

The following day I overheard my neighbour talking about putting a mouse trap in the shed.

I hope the little mouse is going to be ok.
